As you will know by now I cannot have children but recently my sister did all the hard work for me and gave my mum her very first grandchild and Jason and I a beautiful niece, who we can spoil rotten and then hand back. That means all the fun and excitement without sleepless nights and dirty nappies (ha ha ha).

My mum is over the moon and bless her she has waited long enough. She is well and truely in her element and very proud and so are we. I can imagine her time will now be spent shopping at Baby Gap instead of looking in the window, longing to be able to actually buy something.

Mum's word to describe Ava is simply "ace".
