As a spiritualist I follow the seven principles:

• The Fatherhood of God
• The Brotherhood of Man
• Communion of Spirits and the Ministry of Angels
• Existence of the Human Soul
• Personal Responsibility
• Compensation and Retribution hereafter for all Good and Evil Deeds done on Earth
• Eternal Progress open to every Human Soul

As a Reiki Master / Teacher I also follow the 5 Reiki Precepts:

• Just for today do not worry                
  
• Just for today do not anger        
  
• Honour your parents, teachers and elders                                         
  
• Earn your living honestly               
  
• Show gratitude to every living thing

I believe in reincarnation, I believe that when we pass away our soul or spiritual self leaves the physical body and returns to our spiritual home. I see this earthly life as a school were we learn various life lessons and we return in many different forms during many different lifetimes until we have learnt all of our lessons at which point we evolve to the next spiritual level.

In the words of the English poet, William Wordswoth:

"Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting.
The Soul that rises with us, our life's Star
Hath had elsewhere its setting,
and cometh from afar.
Not in entire forgetfulness
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come..."
